The learner reads a leveled passage aloud and each recording is scored for words correct per minute, accuracy and the exact words missed or substituted; the passage can be heard read aloud first; missed words go into spaced review; and a parent, tutor or adult learner sees the scores over time. It is practice and screening, not a reading diagnosis: talk with the school or a specialist about concerns.
